Deutsch: Vorderseite: Kopf des Apollon in der Vorderansicht leicht nach l. gewendet. Er trägt die lockigen, schluterlange Haare offen und einen Mantel (chlamys), der vor dem Hals geknotet ist. Im l. F. die Signatur ΘΕΟΔΟΤΟΣ / ΕΠΟΕΙ.
Rückseite: ΠΥΘ-ΕΟΣ - [KΛ]-A. Ein Schwan mit gespreizten Flügeln nach l. Hinter dem Magistratsnamen ein Monogramm aus H, K und P (nur unterer Teil erhalten), gefolgt vom Städtekürzel. Kommentar: Auf der Vorderseite neben dem Apollonkopf schrieb der Stempelschneider 'Theodotos hat es gemacht', die Rückseite trägt den Namen des Magistraten Pytheos und ein auf diesem Exemplar nicht zu erkennendes Monogramm sowie den Beginn des Stadtnamens KΛA. - Der Vorbesitzer Charles R. Fox notierte auf der Kartelle voller Begeisterung zu dieser Münze: 'one of the finest if not the finest of my coins!'. Literatur: Friedländer - von Sallet Nr. 215 (dieses Stück); K.
