Description
Čeština: Zámek na Kladně, čelní pohled od jihu, vstup na nádvoří. Původně renesanční stavba na místě gotické tvrze byla v první polovině 18. století barokně upravena Kiliánem Ignácem Dientzenhoferem jako venkovská rezidence břevnovsko-broumovských opatů. Významnou součástí interiéru je kaple sv. Vavřince s bohatou barokní výzdobou. Dnes v budově sídlí Zámecká galerie města Kladna a ústřední půjčovna Městské knihovny Kladno.
English: Chateau in Kladno, Central bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Front view with courtyard gate. Originally a Renaissance chateau which replaced an older Gothic fort. Its current shape dates from early 18th century, when it was rebuilt in Baroque style by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer for abbots of Břevnov-Broumov Monastery. The interiors contain St. Lawrence Chapel with rich bBaroque decoration. Nowadays the chateau houses an art gallery and city library.
