| Description |
Čeština: KOKOS (náměstí Sítná čp. 3105, katastrální území Kročehlavy) na Kladně. Původně sídlo OV KSČ a OOR, postavené podle projektu Václava Hilského roku 1984. Od roku 2005 podstatnou část budovy využívá Fakulta biomedicínského inženýrství (FBMI) ČVUT.
English: KOKOS building (3105 Sítná Square) in Kladno-Kročehlavy, Kladno District, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. The 1984 building was designed by Václav Hilský as district headquarters of then ruling Communist party. Since 2005 most of the building has been occupied by Faculty of Biomedical Enineering of Czech Technical University. The name KOKOS, nowadays a semi-official designation of the building (literally: coconut), originally arose as an acronym for mocking expression KOmunistický KOStel (Communist church). |
