English: Lady's Companion sewing kit belonged to donor's mother, Mrs Margaret Elizabeth Booth black leather purse-shaped with handle; dark purple velvet lining; contains needlework tools- thimble, engraved design; scissors- read at join- MADE IN ENGLAND; ivory needle holder with screw-off lid; crochet hooks- two detachable crochet hooks which screw in to separate ivory handle
