| Description |
English: Kirkham Bridge Stone built bridge over the Derwent in a picturesque setting. The bridge is at least 17th century [but could be older], with two curved arches and one pointed arch. The bridge once linked the North and East Ridings of Yorkshire and plans for its rebuilding were submitted to North Riding magistrates in 1806 by John Carr, but it seems that the work was never carried out. |
