Description

Standing portion of the Kinzua Viaduct, a railroad bridge spanning the gorge of Kinzua Creek, McKean County.

A tornado collapsed a large section of the bridge in 2003. The standing portion of the bridge has been converted to a pedestrian walkway, with a glass-bottomed observation deck.

Photo of the bridge during my last visit, in 2007, here.
