Description

The King George's Field at grid reference TQ336809 in Goodman's Yard, London, EC3 just inside the City of London. Given that it was a Lord Mayor of London who started these fields, it is appropriate that there should be one of them in the City (even though this, Finsbury Circus and Postman's Park are about the only fields of any size within the City).

The original unicorn plaque from the entrance gates is preserved on the curious hexagonal pillbox building. The whereabouts of the lion plaque is unknown.

Portsoken Street lies between the park and the building in the background. There is a GeoCache somewhere in the park.
