The Kings Steeplechase Horses sending another also to Mr. Noble Johnson. To thisgentleman, Mr. Lushingtons skilful lieutenant, nolittle of the credit of the horses victories is due. Thejockey he rewarded with a cheque for ;^500. Mr.Lushingtons head man was not forgotten ; he received^^250 as a token of his Royal masters appreciation,and to the boy who did the horse the Prince gave£§0. His generosity to all who served him wasindeed always princely. Friday, 30th March. The Grand National Steeplechase(handicap of 2500 sov., including a piece of plate value100 sov.), by subscription of 25 sov. each, 15 sov. forfeit,or 5 sov. if declared, for five years old and upwards ;second received 300 sov. and third 200 sov. out of thestakes.
