Description
English: King's Staith To the left is Cumberland House, one of the best early 18th century houses in the city and built around 1710 by William Cornwall who was Lord Mayor. The main entrance is around the corner in Cumberland Street as the river frontage is prone to frequent flooding. To the right is the Lowther public house with the clock tower of the city magistrates court rising behind.
