English: Ex-GE 0-6-0 and 0-6-0T at King's Lynn Locomotive Depot. The Depot was just outside the terminus. It was in the Cambridge District and coded 31C by BR, having in 1954 an allocation of 38:- 14 4-4-0, 13 0-6-0, 3 4-4-2T, 2 2-4-2T and 6 0-6-0T. Here is ex-GE Holden 0-6-0 No. 65501 (built 9/1900 as F48 No. 1151, becoming LNER J16 No. 8151, rebuilt as J17 4/29, renumbered No. 5501 in 1946, withdrawn 1/58). On the left is Holden R24 class 0-6-0T No.369 (built 4/1894, becoming LNER J69/1 No 7369, No. 8545 from 1946 and withdrawn 2/61). |
