Description
English: GWR 'King' 4-6-0 leaving King's Cross for Leeds during the 1948 Exchange Trials.
View SW from York Road platform; ex-GNR London terminus. Collett 'King' class 4-6-0 No. 6018 'King Henry VI' is leaving on the 13.10 Leeds express, evidently on one of the preliminary 'warming-up' runs as there is no dynamometer car. One of the Home line's N2 0-6-2T's is on the left and in the murk of the Locomotive Yard on the right a B17 4-6-0. [Not a good photograph, but I was lucky to get it at all].
