English: Local train to Potters Bar at King's Cross Suburban Station. View towardd buffer-stops on Platform 11; the train, headed by Gresley N2/2 0-6-2T No. 69534, is at Platform 12 and may have had its journey curtailed owing to the serious accident that morning near Welwyn Garden City - which I was about to go and see. I and the two train-spotters seem to be on our own that morning. |
