Description
English: During the evening golden hours of Monday the 22nd September, Kilo Company, of Plymouth based 42 Commando Royal Marines, arrived at Davidstow airfield, Cornwall, for the start of a minor exercise.

The training was set on Bodmin Moor, and was to prepare the Company for Exercise Bold Alligator and to ensure troops were in the mind set to switch between kinetic and non-kinetic operations. Kilo Company were rehearsing NEO (Non Combatant Evacuation Operations) and offensive operations over a three day period.

Bold Alligator is a United States (US) lead, multinational, amphibious exercise which commences in October and is spread through until November. Set on the East Coast, the exercise is set to test NEO, humanitarian and disaster relief operations and Commando Raids.
