Summary

[edit]
Description

Flushing.

In 1919, the owner of the house, Joan Beech of Sussex, met and fell in love with a Cornish sea captain. She could not bear to leave the family house, which is about 400 years old, so she asked her husband to move it. So every brick and timber of the entire house was moved the 280 miles from Sussex to Cornwall.
