Summary
[edit]DescriptionKillingholme power station under construction - geograph.org.uk - 1619694.jpg |
English: Killingholme power station under construction Unit 1 (the far unit of four) had been working, possible unit 2 as well. Units 3 and 4 are clearly being finished. The date may be late 1992 or early 1993. Featured are the heat recovery steam generators with their stacks. The gas turbines are obscured to the left. At left, a little bit of a bypass stack is just visible, that enabled a gas turbine to run without the steam generator, albeit at much lower unit efficiency and output. |
