Summary

[edit]
Description Stained glass in Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Killinghall, North Yorkshire, England. Church completed in 1880, by architect William Swinden Barber. North porch windows in yellow glass. The yellow light was intended to calm the congregation by marking the transition as they stepped from the profane world into the sacred one. However the north porch has now been converted into a lavatory.
