English: Kildare - Japanese Gardens Bridge of Life The Japanese Gardens are at the same site as the Irish National Stud, occupying the lower right portion. The gardens depict a journey through life, starting at the Gate of Oblivion (Entrance) and proceeding through the Cave of Birth, the Tunnel of Ignorance, the Hill of Learning, the Engagement Bridge, the Marriage Bridge, the Honeymoon Path, the Hill of Ambition, a Tea House, the Well of Wisdom, the Bridge of Life, the Chair of Old Age, the Hill of Mourning, and the Gateway to Eternity (Exit). |
