Description
English: Khubz in Ankara: Syrian breadmaster preparing khubz at a stall in a food market at Çankaya, Ankara. I know khubz because ate it in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon; the other shoppers were surprised to see this different flatbread and its special preparation and wanted to make questions to the bread-maker. To no avail, because he did not speak any Turkish. I was more surprised to see the special "tandoor" oven installed in a food market, within a closed building, sort of a mall. I hope safety measures were taken.
