English: From left, Staff Sgt. Derek Pearson, Spc. Travis Garcia, both of the 176th Engineer Company, Washington Army National Guard, Lance Cpl. Bennett Russ, U.S. Marine Corps' 9th Engineer Support Battalion, and Pfc. Joshua David, 176th ESB, WAANG, stand at parade rest during a closing ceremony for the Engineering Civic Action Program projects and Cooperative Health Engagement Aug. 13, 2013. The U.S. forces teamed up with members of Canada’s 1 Engineer Support Unit and Mongolian armed force’s 017 Construction Regiment to complete construction renovations on the Erdmiin Orgil High School in Nalaikh District, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Cracks in the roof and walls had caused leaks into the school’s classrooms and gymnasium. The team also completed a wheelchair-accessible ramp. |
