English: First Sgt. Jeffery Alberts, Bravo Troop, 297th Reconnaissance and Surveillance Squadron, Alaska Army National Guard, receives an award from Maj. Gen. Zagdsruren Boldbaatar, state secretary of Ministry of Defense, Mongolia, for his outstanding professionalism, dedication and performance of duty in support of Khaan Quest 2013 during the closing ceremony held at the Five Hills Training Area near the vicinity of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Aug. 14. Khaan Quest is a peacekeeping operations-focused, combined training event between U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, U.S. Army, Pacific and the Mongolian armed forces. This exercise marks the 11th iteration of Khaan Quest. Military personnel from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, India, Nepal, Republic of Korea, Tajikistan, United Kingdom and Vietnam are also participating in the exercise. |
