Deutsch: Der Schlussstein stammt aus der vormaligen kreuzgewölbten St. Galler Stiftsbibliothek, die Abt Diethelm Blarer 1551-1553 errichten ließ. Er zeigt das Wappen eines der Mönche, die zur Bauzeit in der Klostergemeinschaft lebten.
English: The keystone comes from the former cross-vaulted St. Gall Abbey Library, which Abbot Diethelm Blarer had built in 1551-1553. It shows the coat of arms of one of the monks who lived in the monastery community at the time of construction.
Français : La clé de voûte provient de l'ancienne bibliothèque de l'abbaye de Saint-Gall, voûtée en croix, que l'abbé Diethelm Blarer a fait construire entre 1551 et 1553. Elle représente les armoiries de l'un des moines qui vivaient dans la communauté monastique à l'époque de la construction.
