| Description |
English: Kesaria Rajbhog is an Indian dessert which was first prepared in West Bengal. Made from coagulated component of milk, which is collected and wrapped in cheesecloth, strained and beaten thoroughly, until it becomes quite firm. It is then dipped in sugar syrup at room temperature which is prepared by dissolving sugar and edible saffron color into water and then by boiling the mixture. It is then kept undisturbed so that the sugar syrup is absorbed. Once the absorption is complete, it is then taken out in serving bowls and garnished with saffron, pistachios and almond shavings. |
