Summary
[edit]DescriptionKerrera's northern beacon - geograph.org.uk - 1754328 (cropped).jpg |
English: Kerrera's northern beacon Sea kayakers, like pedestrians, don't like to mix it up with traffic much bigger and heavier than themselves, so tend to stay out of channels when possible. With a CalMac ferry manoeuvring in Oban harbour and quite a few smaller boats buzzing about, I was staying on the landward side of the harbour entrance beacon, which is fine if you have a draught of about five inches fully loaded, although I was in contact with the bottom whilst I took this photo. |
