Description
English: Keōua Hale, the residence of Charles Reed Bishop, the wealthy banker, was the most costly in the city of Honolulu. The house was built by Princess Ruth Keʻelikōlani and bequethed to her cousin Bernice Pauahi Bishop and inherited by Charles Reed Bishop after his wife's death. The interior is beautifully decorated with many of the most rare varieties of the native woods.
