Description
English: Circa-1907 Granitoid pavement along Kenyon Street in the Old North Knoxville Historic District of Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. Known locally as "singing" pavement due to the sound it makes when cars roll over it, this type of pavement was patented by the R. S. Blome Company of Chicago in 1907.
