中文（臺灣）：以往經過社頂公園一旁的籠仔埔草原，總能看見成群的山羊在草原上覓食，近年似乎無此盛況。「中華民國養羊協會」理事長林浚琛表示，目前全台肉羊約有十萬頭，但本土山羊只剩不到2000頭，且經雜交後台灣純種黑山羊所剩不多，因此認為畜試所的山羊保種任務十分重要。不過對於銀合歡是否適合作飼料，「不敢推，怕羊吃了有問題。」 林強調要先有專家學者的研究背書，羊協才敢嘗試。
