Description
English: C13-17th Century. Copper alloy, cast, broken, cooking receptacle leg. Length 52.6mm, Width 23.9mm, Thickness 19.3mm, Weight 64.8g. Probable skillet or ewer leg with foot, with triangular cross-section and twisted rope decoration down the front section, terminating in a horizontal ridge and small plain foot. Traces of laquer on the back, otherwise attractive dark green patina.
