| Description |
English: Kenilworth Castle Gatehouse Built by Robert Dudley Earl of Leicester in 1571 as the main entrance to the castle. The original 12 foot archway through the gatehouse was blocked in 1649 by Col. Hawksworth who slighted the main defences of the castle to prevent them being used by the Royalists. |
