Description
Deutsch: Blick in Richtung Chorraum in der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche hl. Martin in der oberösterreichischen Gemeinde Kematen an der Krems.
Die Hochaltarfiguren des barocken Marienaltar sind Werke des Bildhauers Johann Georg Schwanthaler und stellen die lateinischen Kirchenväter dar. Von links nach rechts: Ambrosius (Bischof mit Bienenkorb in der Hand), Hieronymus (Kardinal mit Löwen zu seinen Füßen), Gregor d. Große (Papst mit Heilig-Geist-Taube - schräg über seinem Kopf), Augustinus v. Hippo (Bischof mit (brennendem) Herzen in der Hand). Die Statue links an der Wand ist ein Nikolaus v. Myra (Bischof mit drei Kugeln in der Hand) und rechts Ulrich von Augsburg (Bischof mit Fischen).
