Bahasa Indonesia: Kelenteng Boen Tek Bio adalah Rumah Ibadah dari Agama Tri Dharma (Khonghucu, Buddha, Taoisme) yang berada di daerah Pasar Lama, Tangerang ini berdiri Tahun 1684 dan menjadi salah satu Cagar Budaya yang dilindungi oleh Pemerintah Republik Indonesia. Kelenteng ini Hanya mengalami satu kali Renovasi Besar yaitu pada Tahun 1844. Sebagian besar kompenen kelenteng, seperti patung dan lain-lain didatangkan dari Dataran China. Kelenteng Boen Tek Bio sendiri berasal dari bahasa Hokkian yang memiliki arti khusus. Boen berarti intelektual, tek berarti kebajikan, dan bio berarti tempat ibadah. Secara etimologi, Boen Tek Bio berarti tempat bagi umat manusia untuk menjadi insan yang penuh kebajikan dan intelektual. |
