After approx. 5 days in moist soil and darkness, a hemp seedling comes to light and strips off the remains of the seed coat.

Summary

[edit]
Description
S-Form). Die Samenschale wird meist beim Herauswachsen abgestreift.
English: Hemp seeds emerge after a few days in moist, oxygen-permeable soil and darkness. Already under the soil, they orientate their first root strand downwards, influenced by gravity, and grow with their head upwards (gravitropism), which can cause the plant to appear curved (e.g. S-shaped) in the first few days. The seed coat is usually shed as it grows out.
