Nederlands: Kazemat, die grotendeels overdekt is door begroeiing met struiken en bomen. De kazemat heeft twee ingangen (westelijke en zuidoostelijke zijde) en is gelegen nabij het dubbele woonhuis Hoofdweg 2-4. De kazemat behoorde bij het complex aan gebouwen van het vliegveld Peest. De nabije ligging van het dubbele woonhuis doet vermoeden dat er een relatie bestaat tussen beide gebouwen. Volgens de overlevering deed dit woonhuis tijdens de oorlogsperiode dienst als telefooncentrale. Ook bij het vliegveld in Eelde bestaat een vergelijkbare combinatie van telefooncentrale en kazemat. |
