Notes: Katoomba Municipal Baths were opened by the Hon Arthur Griffiths, Minister for Public Works, December 3, 1913. Originally there were separate pools for ladies and gentlemen, this is the gents pool. The design of R D Fitzgerald was carried out by the Dept of Public Works at a cost of ₤7,600, with Katoomba Municipal Council bearing half the expense. Chelmsford Bridge in the background, with a rather fine open roadster. Format: B&W photograph, Harry Phillips Licensing: Attribution, share alike, creative commons.
