Ελληνικά: καταβόθρα Πλέσσια της Βλαχέρνα Αρκαδίας, καρστικο φαινομένων στο λεκάνη του Ορχομενόυ (Το οροπέδιο της Βλαχέρνα Αρκαδιας), Πελοπόννησος, Ελλάδα. Καθε 4-5 χρονια, οταν οι μεγαλες ποσοτητες νερού συσσωρευτηκαν η μπλοκαριστηκαν, υπηρχε κατακρατηση νερού. Οταν η ποσοτητα του νερού, ηταν πολυ μεγαλη, διμιουργηθηκαν λιμνες.

English: Southwest Ponor (Plessia of Vlacherna), in a large Karst basin, bordered by the villages of Vlacherna, Hotoussa, Kandila. The plateau has no natural water outlet, a relatively frequent phenomenon in the karst basins of Arcadia (island Peloponnese in Greece). When precipitation of winters is exceptionally rich, the fields are flooded, a temporary lake may result even nowadays. In those cases several ponors in the karstic depression become vital.

Deutsch: Südwest Ponor des großen Hochplateaus der Orte Vlacherna, Hotoussa, Kandila. Relativ häufige Erscheinung in Karstbecken (Hochebenen), Arkadien (nordöstlicher Peloponnes, Griechenland). In besonders niederschlagsreichen Wintern werden die Böden der landwirtschaftlichen Flächen immer wieder nass. Auch heute noch können temporäre Seen entstehen. In den abflusslosen Becken werden dann mehrere Ponore hochaktiv, soweit auf den oft kilometer weiten unterirdischen Wegen keine Verstopfungen entstehen.
