Description
Deutsch: Tübingen. Haus Karlstraße 3. Das Haus wurde 1843 durch den damaligen Wirt des Gasthauses ‚Krone‘, das diesem Haus gegenüber liegt, Johann Wilhelm Fischer, erbaut. Im linken Seitenflügel befanden sich Stallungen und Remisen samt Heuscheuer für den Gasthof. In den oberen Etagen wurden großzügige, von der Stadt steuerlich begünstigte Wohnungen geschaffen, da es Mangel an solchen Wohnungen, die besonders für Professoren geeignet waren, herrschte. – Blick aus dem Bett der Kronlach, die durch die „Neckarkorrektion“ von 1910/11 überflüssig wurde und wo danach das Uhlandbad erbaut wurde.
