| Description |
English: The Neolithic passage grave "Ragnvalds grav" (RAÄ number Karleby 58:1) in Karleby parish, Falköping municipality, Vartofta hundred, former Skaraborg county, Västergötland, Västra Götaland county, Sweden. It is the longest passage grave in Sweden, with a chamber length of 17 m, and a passage length of 13 m. The grave is seen från South East. In the picture the 4 m long sideslab of limestone is shown. To the left is an old Swedish Whitebeam (Sorbus × intermedia).
Svenska: Gånggriften Ragnvalds grav (RAÄ-nummer Karleby 58:1) i Karleby socken, Falköpings kommun, Vartofta härad, f.d. Skaraborgs län, Västergötland, Västra Götalnds län, Sverige. Gånggriften är Sveriges längsta gånggrift med en 17 m lång kammare och en 13 m lång gång. På bilden ses gånggriften från sydväst. Bilden visar gånggriftens baksida med en 4 m lång vägghäll i kalksten. Till vänster ses en gammal oxel (Sorbus intermedia). |
