Description Tafel am Keltengehöft unmittelbar hinter dem Keltentor am Dünsberg bei Gießen.
"Karl Reeh wurde am 18. Februar 1904 in Rodheim an der Bieber geboren, er besuchte die Volksschule und erlernte dann das Zimmermannshandwerk. Nach dem Besuch der Technikerschule in Bingen, die er 1924 erfolgreich abschloss, arbeitete er als Architekt und studierte am Berufspädagogischen Institut in Frankfurt. Von 1933 bis 1969 war er als Gewerbelehrer an der Werner von Siemens-Schule in Wetzlar tätig.
Schon in seiner Jugendzeit interessierte sich Karl Reeh für die Erforschung seiner Heimat, insbesondere für den Dünsberg. Seine umfangreichen Forschungsarbeiten, die sein ganzes Leben in Anspruch nahmen, dienen heute als massgebliche Vorarbeit für die wissenschaftlichen Ausgrabungs- und Forschungsarbeiten am Dünsberg. Mit seinem Buch "Der Dünsberg und seine Umgebung" wird die Nachwelt immer an Karl Reh erinnert. Er verstarb am 13. April 2004 im Alter von 100 Jahren in Wetzlar."
