Deutsch: Bekannt wurde Schiesser durch 101 Aufnahmen von Karl May, die er in mehreren Sitzungen im Frühjahr 1896 bei einem Besuch in Radebeul anfertigte. Vor allem die "Kostümfotos", die May als Old Shatterhand und Kara Ben Nemsi zeigen, wurden folgend durch Adolf Nunwarz vermarktet und zu Werbezwecken verwendet. Schiesser wurde später Landesrechnungsdirektor und Leiter des Landesstenographenamtes.
