English: Norwegian catholic bishop Karl Sigurdsson (Skaktavl), photograph of a painting in Hoff Kirke, Toten (Norway). The text says: "Anno 1483 fik jeg Ridder Carl Hr. Segersen af Grefsen Toten med al kongelig og præstelig Regimente af Kong Hans – holdt her Kapellan, var Bisp i Hammer og Slotsherre paa Aggerhuus, døde Anno 1488 og ført til Hammer. Symbol: Reges erunt nutritii tui." According to Ludvig Daae)[1] he was entitled Karolus Wiwardi de Hamaria when he in 1467 enrolled at the University of Rostock, and as Carolus Sigvardi when he graduated the year after (1468). |
