Deutsch: Der 1845 in St. Anna am Aigen geborene Dominikanerpriester Andreas Franz Frühwirth war Apostolischer Visitator in Österreich und Päpstlicher Nuntius in Bayern. 1915 wurde er von Papst Benedikt XV zum Kurienkardinal erhoben. Er starb 1933 in Rom. Professor August Weckbecker war der Bildhauer. Die Büste in Carrarer Marmor entstand bereits 1916 im Auftrag von Baronin Clara von Biedermann und war damals, durch König Ludwig III., für die Münchner Nuntiatur bestimmt.
