Kapal terbesar Angkatan Laut Australia HMAS Canberra telah berlabuh di Tanjung Priok sebagai bagian dari Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2021 (IPE21), sebuah kegiatan yang dilakukan setiap dua tahun di seluruh Asia Tenggara, dan dirancang untuk meningkatkan kerja sama Angkatan Laut Australia dengan mitra dekatnya di kawasan. Selama kunjungannya ke Jakarta, HMAS Canberra akan menyelenggarakan lokakarya tentang Bantuan Kemanusiaan dan Penanggulangan Bencana; Keamanan Maritim; dan Pertukaran Ahli Pokok di pesawat Hercules, yang dioperasikan oleh Indonesia dan Australia. Sebagai bagian dari IPE21, Australia mengirimkan sebuah mesin desalinasi bertenaga surya ke Nusa Lembongan, Bali, untuk membantu masyarakat Indonesia memecahkan masalah pasokan air dan polusi plastik. Mesin ini diangkut dari Australia menggunakan kemampuan gabungan Kapal HMA Canberra dan Anzac. HMAS Canberra adalah sebuah kapal Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD), dan aset Pemulihan Bencana dan Kemanusian yang paling mumpuni di Angkatan Laut Australia. Dengan berat 27.000 ton dan panjang 230 meter, kapal ini dirancang untuk memberikan bantuan medis dan kemanusiaan selama keadaan darurat regional dengan satu rumah sakit berkapasitas 40 tempat tidur, lengkap dengan dua ruang operasi. Dek penerbangannya yang mencapai 200 meter, dapat membawa hingga 12 helikopter. Lebih dari 100 kendaraan dan 7.000 ton kargo dapat disimpan di dalamnya.
