Summary

[edit]
Description Postcard photo of a 4-6-2 Pacific type passenger locomotive of the Kansas City Southern Railway. The card was sent as a "thank you" from the railway for the purchase of a ticket. What is of interest in the message on the back is that the railway describes the locomotive as being oil burning--not a coal burner.
