Iron Sulfide Concretions

Description Typical examples of iron sulfide concretions, which are certified Boji stones. They are found in the Smoky Hill Chalk Member of the Niobrara Formation of Kansas. Both regular, upper row, and polycuboidal, lower row, varieties shown in picture. These concretions are about 3 centimeters in diameter.
