Summary
[edit]DescriptionKanab Creek Wilderness (8101126057).jpg |
Kanab Creek Wilderness, one of the major tributaries of the Colorado River, contains a vast network of vertical walled gorges. Elevations within this wilderness range from 2,000 feet at the creek to 6,000 feet at the canyon rims. Extreme heat and scarcity of water during the summer make spring and fall the ideal times to visit this wilderness.
