Description
English:
Calvary. A 14th century Corpus Cristi Chapel stand on the Saint Bernard Hill (now Calvary Hill) in Pécs. Under Ottoman Period this chapel destroyed. In the 1700s Jesuit built a Small Calvary (Stations of the Cross only with seven stations) on the hill. After multiple extension completed to the 12 (14?) Station of Cross. In between 1812 and 1817 built the Calvary chapel on the place of the former Small Calvary. The sandstone reliefs of the stations destroyed so new iron reliefs made in 1895. Two reliefs/stations are on the outer wall of the chapel. All of the calvary complex is in a walled garden. Along the east and north wall is a walkway with stairs and benches - close to Kálvária Street, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.

A falon kívül a lépcsősor melletti teraszokat modern padokkal építették meg, itt gyümölcsfákat találhatók. A felújítást Dévényi Sándor és munkatársai tervezték.
