Kale Kapı

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Along the road from Kastamonu to Taşköprü one can go north for some miles to visit, near the village of Karacaoğlu, a Phrygian rock grave. According to a guidebook I read only later one might see all sorts of animals on its front. Maybe because an archaeologists eyes (and field glasses) are much better than mine, only later did I vaguely identify two, that I present as crops. I think there is a strong resemblance with the much more famous grave Midas Monument.
