Description
English: A Kalasa or Kalasha is the pinnacle element in the form of a vase finial of a temple's tower, a cupola or pitcher. It is found in Hindu and Jain rites-of-passage ceremonies, particularly related to babies and weddings. This is a derivative work on 1010 CE Brihadishwara Shiva Temple, a view of kalasa on tower, built by Rajaraja I, Thanjavur Tamil Nadu India.jpg
