English: Archer Swienton, a 9-year-old member of the Pack 69 Bear Den, prepares to launch an “asteroid” bearing a striking resemblance to a beanbag through a solar system strongly resembling a bike tire as fellow Bears Mark Brandon and Brody Knapp look on during the Space Derby held star date March 30 at Vogelweh Elementary School. The interstellar event attracted close to 80 Earthlings and featured flying saucer construction and an asteroid toss in addition to the space race. |
