Description
Nederlands: De oefening ’Failure’ vond eind april plaats op Maritiem Vliegkamp (MVK) De Kooy. De naam lijkt wat ongelukkig gekozen. Weliswaar ‘mislukt’ een helikoptervlucht in het scenario, echter een mislukking is de oefening allerminst. Dat bevestigt ook oefenleider en directeur Kustwacht, kapitein ter zee Ronald Blok, na afloop. “We hebben nu een beter beeld van de mensen en de organisaties die je nodig hebt als er zich een dergelijke calamiteit voordoet.” Blok doelt op het interessante kleurenpalet aan militaire en civiele spelers die een rol hebben indien een militaire of civiele helikopter op MVK De Kooy of Den Helder Airport in de problemen komt.
