Description

As a Falcon 9 rocket stands ready for lifts off at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 40, photojournalists set up cameras to record the event. The rocket will launch a Dragon resupply spacecraft to the International Space Station, or ISS. Liftoff is scheduled for April 8, 2016 at 4:43 p.m. EDT. On its eighth commercial resupply services mission to the ISS, Dragon will bring up almost 7,000 pounds of supplies, such as new science experiments and equipment for technology research.
